Central Virginia “Survivor Day” Prepares Residents for Emergencies
“Survivor Day”, a free workshop made available to communities for emergency preparedness training, was held in 12 locations across central Virginia to educate over 180 members of the community on how to prepare for the first 72 hours of a natural disaster. The courses were held by the Central Virginia Urban Areas Security Initiative.
